Crafting a standout Common App essay can be a pivotal step in your college application process. In this workshop, Dr. Faiza Hussain will help provide the tools and insights needed to navigate the essay prompts, unlock your unique narrative, and present your best self to college admissions committees. Join us on Saturday, September 30 (5 pm to 7 pm) in the library and gain the confidence to write an essay that reflects your individuality and aspirations, setting you on the path to college success. This event is for high schoolers and aspiring college students. This event is free of cost. Pizza and refreshments will be served!

Dr. Faiza Hussain is a Science writer with a wealth of experience in the higher education and startup biotechnology sectors. While she is credited with securing multimillion-dollar funding for prestigious institutions like MIT, she also actively mentors high school and college students in crafting exceptional essays. Having edited over 200 college application essays, her proficiency is unmatched in transforming mundane stories into compelling narratives that capture admissions committees’ attention.
